Established Brand, New Era
Hearthside Furniture is a small yet well established furniture store located in Lititz, PA providing a source for high quality, traditionally crafted furniture by some of Lancaster County Pennsylvania’s most skilled craftsmen. As they anticipated continued business growth, they started seriously looking at their brand. Their visual identity had been built up over their years in business but was becoming tired and dated.
They did a lot of their design work in-house up to this point but like many businesses, couldn’t find the time to do it. It was time to take the next step and find a brand designer who could help them move their brand forward.
Through a brand workshop with Hearthside, we developed a brand strategy that was focused on moving them into their new era of business growth. Together we directed our efforts toward developing a refreshed brand identity that would bring their visual style up-to-date.
This new identity was then applied to their various existing marketing touch points as well as some new efforts that were developed.

Brand Identity Design
The old logo was seeing it's age. It was constructed of complex shapes and was in need of simplifying. Hearthside wanted to maintain some continuity with the old logo as the hearth design had some recognition. The new logo provided this continuity in a new, more iconic, yet simple and concise design.
Hearthside wanted a brochure to hand out to potential buyers. This brochure needed to communicate the warmth of home, and provide an overview of their brand story and offering. We designed a simple, 8 page brochure complete with beautiful imagery and thoughtfully crafted copy.
While Hearthside already had a web developer providing ongoing website marketing services, they needed to bring their website up-to-date and in line with their new brand. We worked with them to create a new visual direction that they could then apply to their website.
